Liebe Familie Eismann,
vielen Dank für ein wunderschönes Wochenende fernab von Stress und Hektik. Wir haben den Aufenthalt in unserem wunderschön renovierten, ruhigen und großen Zimmer sehr genossen, die Dampfdusche war der Hit, und haben neue Einblicke in die Welt des Teegenusses gewonnen. Danke für die perfekten Empfehlungen! Und die Kinder freuen sich auch schon auf den nächsten Besuch in Ihrem Haus!

Hotel Wittelsbach is all about charm, warmth, and elegance.
Very few hotels today can offer the intimacy, graciousness, and affordability found at the Wittelsbach.
First of all, being in the center of Ruhpolding is delightful. Ruhpolding is a friendly, beautiful town surrounded by the Bavarian Alps. Ruhpolding is fun for everyone, with lovely dining, cute shops, and a warm atmosphere. Add in a touch of the baroque found at its main church, and Alpine heaven is quickly found. The skiing is also first rate, especially at the Winklemoos. Close by and excellent snow.
Now, on to the hotel itself. My daughter said the word to describe it all is "gorgeous." She's right. The common areas offer a gentle warmth with no unpleasant surprises. Lots of wood, the right antiques, and combine it with a staff that truly cares and you know you wish you could never leave. Our bedroom had a spectacular view of the Alps and the luxurious steam shower that after a day of skiing seemed to relax every muscle. The tea room is lovely, too -- wonderfully warm and beautifully decorated.
The meals at Wittelsbach take Bavarian classics to new levels. FIve stars! The food was delicious and elegant. Marcus (the owner) knew my wife was a vegetarian and always made sure there was a selection for her (pumpkin soup with roasted pumpkin seeds, risotto, Austrian ravioli....) As for the wine list, we're talking first-rate pairings all the way. And for breakfast, you can look forward to local honey, Bavarian cheeses, eggs, croissants,....the list delightfully goes on.
Now, if you are the least inclined to take tea, this place is absolutely remarkable. Organic, flavorful, and an amazing selection--naturally, loose leaf. It was simply exquisite!
The owners, Marcus and his lovely wife, Anja, bring a charm and courtesy to their hotel. They are kind, sincere, outgoing, and hardworking. When we first arrived, we were all greeted by name and offered restorative tea. Anja is as sincere as she is warm. For example, when I asked about renting a sled, I was told to simply use theirs. Yet perhaps what highlights the sense of intimacy the Wittelsbach is all about was found on our last night: Marcus accompanied my wife on piano while she sang Ave Maria. We were also lucky to hear a little Cole Porter, too!
Also, credit to the entire staff--especially Nicole and Simo--both work in the restaurant and always made us all feel welcome.
If you are looking for a gorgeous hotel that is affordable, offers a fabulous atmosphere for all ages, and has a charming staff, the Wittelsbach is for you!
This was definitely our favorite ski trip ever!

Liebe Eismänner, an dieser Stelle nochmals vielen Dank, für die schönen Tage in Eurem neu gestalteten Haus. Wir haben es sehr genossen, unsere freien Tage dort zu verbringen. Eure Neugestaltung ist vollkommen gelungen und verleiht dem Haus noch mehr Flair.
Einfach rundum gelungen. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Aufenthalt im Alpenhotel Wittelsbach. Eins steht fest, wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Liebe Familie Eismann und Team, vielen Dank für die wunderschöne Woche in Ihrem kuscheligen Hotel. Wir haben uns in Ihrem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Ambiente Ihres Hotels, unser geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Familienzimmer mit dem tollen Bad, der perfekte Service, das leckere Essen sowie Ihr aufmerksames, stets freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal haben unseren Urlaub zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. (Gern verbringe ich meinen Geburtstag wieder bei Ihnen!)

Liebes Hotel Team, auf diesem Weg möchten wir uns nochmal herzlich bedanken für den tollen (und unvergesslichen) Aufenthalt, den wir bei Ihnen hatten. Das Hotel, die Zimmer, das Personal ist wirklich super! Insbesondere möchten wir den hervorragenden Service loben: das Team hat wirklich ganz tolle Arbeit geleistet und uns den Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis gemacht. Wir kommen mit Sicherheit mal wieder vorbei!
